Pros

Nice perks if you are a Disney fan and live closish to one of the parks.

Streaming work has been remote since before 2020, and is not likely to change anytime soon.

Depending on what project you are on, workflow and deadlines can be pretty reasonable, with no consistent crunch or long hours.

Cons

Depending on what project you are on, workflow and deadlines can be pretty silly, leading to long hours and some crunch for releases.

Disney is not a traditional person tech company and is going through some pains as it tries to become one in the streaming world. This has led to a lot of turnover and unclear priorities.

Advice to Management

Stop reorganizing from the top down. Each time a new higher-up comes in, it is not necessary to reorganize all the teams below. Let the teams self-organize and stop drawing arbitrary boundaries and delegating ownership of systems.
