Pros

You get to work with high-profile web properties like ESPN, ABC, etc. The offices are located in a nice, modern office building in the heart of downtown Seattle. The group is relatively small, and there is still some of the legacy of the startups that Disney acquired left in the culture.

Cons

There is risk aversion that borders on being a culture of fear. Disney is very protective of the brand and intellectual property.

The internet part of the business is a small side business for a corporate behemoth, and the main corporate management may not always understand the business as well as they should.

Advice to Management

Let the engineers do their thing without fear of failure. Set reasonable standards and maintain transparency to learn from mistakes.
