Pros

Opportunity for growth if you work yourself to the bone and win the favor of the right executives. Brand name recognition on the resume. Truly nice people on an individual level.

Cons

Never in my life have I encountered a worse IT/HR group. Literally falling apart - unable to do the bare minimum of getting a laptop to a new hire, with an account set up.

Prepare to be a tool used for your bosses' bosses' bosses' bosses' relationship with their bosses' boss. No aim to create real business value, just want to have other people 'look good' for some upcoming meeting with an executive.

  • CONSTANT political posturing
  • Sub par talent. All the smartest people have already left, leaving a 'talent desert' full of battlefield promotions.
  • Inept leaders
  • No culture whatsoever (though I truly did like the people I worked with as individuals. Some really nice folks).
  • Pays way below market rate for tech jobs
  • Feels like a multi-national corporate bureaucracy - you're a cog in the machine.
  • Bizarre brand-worship
  • Re-orgs that make no sense.

Really just a s***show in every sense, with no organizational alignment or strategy.
