Pros

The product roadmap might be interesting to some folks. A few lower-level managers are pretty amazing. There are a lot of people in the organization who are amazing, but they won’t be there for long.

  • Below market pay
  • Below market PTO
  • New leadership who is incredibly out of touch with reality
  • Continued reduction of benefits as each week passes
  • Company is heading down a dark path
Advice to Management

I think you’ll find all the answers you need in the upcoming eSat survey. But here is a quick list of advice:

  • You have enough money to pay people what they deserve, so do it.
  • Prioritize work-life balance and culture over your bottom-line revenue.
  • Listen more, talk and make decisions less. Act with intention, not haste.
  • Performance manage the underperformers out and stop promoting people just to keep them.
  • Cloud hosting doesn’t equal cutting edge. Stop letting non-technical leaders make technical decisions that are going to drive our company into the ground.
