There are many good things about DocuSign, like a fully stocked kitchen and great parties for Christmas, etc.
The manager was very passive-aggressive. It's a very top-heavy company with too much management. People with poor social skills are put into management positions. They are growing so fast and not compensating at a rate accepted in Silicon Valley, so a lot of the talent they are hiring isn't really qualified for the roles they are putting them into.
Strip out the ridiculous amount of managers managing projects. They need to actually commit to what feature they want to build for the quarter and communicate with engineers that it is a feasible workload.
Great people. Great communication. Love the vibe. I hope I get the job. The LeetCode question on binary trees was WTF. It seems like a standard, simple question just to test me on data structures.
30-minute screening call with recruiter 1-hour hiring manager interview (behavioral and tech quiz-like questions) 3-hour virtual onsite (includes 3x 1-hour interviews: DS&A, system design, behavioral)
4 rounds: HR call with some behavioral questions. Coding round: went through one code problem with optimization. System design: designing a system that can handle a big amount of data. Manager round: some behavioral and tech questions.
