I went to their SF office and was scheduled for interviews with six different people. I was asked to bring my own laptop for the coding exercise. Other interviews I had scheduled were with the head of HR, the CTO on leadership skills, a lead engineer on design/architecture, another leadership interview, and an interview with Product.

When I arrived, reception did not have my name at the entrance, so I had to call someone to get me in. The first interviewer was 10 minutes late, and we skipped intros, so we got straight to the coding. The question was fairly easy, and I was able to code it up, run a couple of test cases, and make some improvements with execution complexity.

This was followed by an interview lunch with an HR person, where we discussed my previous experience working with HR.

Next was a leadership conversation with the CTO. Pretty classic questions on management style, how/when to promote/fire someone, consensus reaching, and working with product.

The design interview was about SOA and how to design the payments system. The interviewer was happy with the solution, and we then deeply discussed their current architecture.

After getting back from a break, the room I had was occupied, and my HR contact told me that we should not continue the rest of the interviews. I got the impression that the CTO does not care about consensus reaching at all.
