The recruiter made a lot of false promises. I was told they'd "definitely" be able to make a decision by a specific date, which aligned with my other deadline. However, they ended up being a week late and repeatedly saying, "We'll definitely have an answer for you tomorrow" for five consecutive days.

They then requested two additional rounds after my onsite interview.

The recruiter stated I was "guaranteed an offer" if I passed the first additional round, which was a coding assessment. I performed exceptionally well on this round. Subsequently, they requested an extra round where I met with a senior director, and I was rejected that same day.

There was no feedback whatsoever provided.

My relationship with the startup, with whom I had an offer, is now strained due to me pushing back my own deadline so extensively.
