A recruiter reached out and I had a phone interview. I couldn't even imagine how one can ask such a trivial question in a real interview. What's more baffling is that after answering every damn question, and not to mention correcting the interviewer himself on many things, I got a rejection. It's fine. It's your company and you get to decide whom to hire, but you at least owe it to the candidate to let them know if the reason was not technical. I see most DoorDash interview reviews here to be easy and with no offer. I see a trend, and I will make sure to let every peer I know to stay clear of this company.
