Great pay and smart engineers, but toxic culture
- The pay is above market (usually).
- The engineers are smart, and you can learn a lot.
- The culture can be very demanding and toxic. Only join if you can handle pressure.
- AI is being pushed everywhere as if it's going to solve everything. Leadership asked engineers to 3x their productivity with AI, which is ridiculous.
AI is not a panacea.
