I recently went through a lengthy interview process that included seven interviews for a position I was very excited about. Unfortunately, in the end, the head of the group decided to go in a different direction.
The technical interview was quite complex and involved some interesting algorithm questions in JavaScript. Following that, I had interviews focused on project descriptions and design discussions.
However, during the final interview with the head of the group, everything came to a halt. While the recruiter was amazing and supportive throughout the process, the lengthy timeline ultimately left me feeling quite discouraged and a bit traumatized.
Overall, it was a tough experience, but I gained valuable insights along the way. I hope to use this experience to improve in future interviews.
