Without going into specifics due to an NDA contract, I will try to be as specific as I can to provide some useful feedback. I was interviewing for a lead engineer position.
In general, it was a good experience. The work environment seemed friendly and not as hectic as a regular startup would be. Job security seems good, as they are privately held (corporate) with Series E funding. Engineers seemed competent and experienced. Management seems competent enough to know to focus on specific directions and guide the ship toward them. Unfortunately, I have heard of situations where my previous coworkers talk about low-balled offers. That notion got me biased and also made me realize I was probably in the same boat. After some unsuccessful renegotiations, I sadly had to reject the offer.
Tips:
Talked with a senior manager about work experiences and past projects.
System design question for data ingestion from an external source.
Coding exercise to validate a lineup.
Object-oriented design question for a restaurant system.
Designing an employee tracking system.
