Applied on LinkedIn with an honest CV. Got an initial call which did not go well. The recruiter seemed annoyed I did not have a particular experience on my CV. I did not hide this fact from them prior to the call, so I feel they should have done their due diligence before wasting my time.
I was surprised afterwards they went on to ask me some technical questions. I flubbed some, answered some ok. She would rush me if I knew the answer but be a bit judgmental if I did not. She concluded that these were simple questions that would be asked in the next interview. Fair enough, but I was not expecting them in this call, and from a recruiter with no experience in software development. It felt like among my most negative interview experiences for being judged for what I hadn't gotten experience in, and then what I didn't know off the top of my head.
Do you have Kubernetes experience? I have not read your CV.
