I am a sophomore studying computer science and engineering. DraftKings reached out to me from the Grace Hopper resume database.
They then conducted a phone screening with basic questions about experience and about my resume. Afterwards, I was sent a HackerRank coding challenge. The HackerRank was challenging, but I managed to pass all test cases and was given a technical interview. The technical interview was fine (the interviewer was pleasant but didn't give much guidance), but was very object-oriented and was very different from other algorithms-based interview questions. I managed to somewhat complete it, but received a rejection.
Throughout the whole process, I was given object-oriented programming where I had to choose from certain object-oriented languages (I was not allowed to pick any language).
