Engineer Interview Experience - United States

Process

I applied online using Jobvite and secured a phone interview.

This was followed by an onsite interview where I spoke with several engineers throughout the day.

It was quite an exhausting experience.

The questions asked were very vague.

It seems they were more interested in brain teaser-like games rather than in-depth "real-world" technical details.

I was expecting more coding questions, but not an excessive amount.

I was disappointed with the interviewers.

I believe a startup environment might be more practical.

Questions

It seems they want to play brain teaser-like games rather than going deep into 'real-world' technical details. Very sad about the interviewers.
