The recruiter reached out, and I had a call with them.

Soon after, a phone interview took place. The interviewer was professional and helpful.

I cleared the phone interview.

Then, I received instructions for the onsite interviews. I was asked to provide a topic for the Deep Dive interview discussion beforehand. I was told that I could choose any topic I could discuss in detail.

I provided a topic for the Deep Dive with a well-crafted abstract.

Onsite:

There were five rounds, four of which were conducted well.

However, the DEEP DIVE interview was one of the worst I have experienced.

During this particular interview, an extremely arrogant interviewer entered the room. He began by asking for my introduction and the projects I had worked on. As I was narrating my experience, he interrupted me midway, stating, "I don't want to know all that."

He then arrogantly added, "The topic that you gave for the Deep Dive, I don't want to hear about that. Tell me about something that had business impact at your current company."

He then started digging into my current company's sensitive business information, which became extremely uncomfortable.

I tried to explain that I was not comfortable revealing anything sensitive about my current company. He did not seem to care.

For the remainder of my Deep Dive discussion, he acted uninterested and appeared sleepy.

REALLY? Is this how your extremely arrogant interviewers behave? Didn't your arrogant employee go through your behavioral round when he was hired?

It seems the Deep Dive interview is a way to steal intellectual property from other companies. This is a shady practice.
