Process
I recently took the automated interview test from Dropbox, and I have to say the experience was extremely frustrating. The system tracks every movement and every sound, which makes the whole thing feel more like a circus than a professional interview process. On top of that, the constant pop-ups are incredibly distracting. For example, I wasn’t even allowed to have a second monitor connected.
If a company isn’t willing to invest properly in their interview process, then I’m not inclined to invest my time either—especially as a senior engineer with 15 years of experience. This kind of setup feels disrespectful to candidates and doesn’t reflect well on the company.
Don’t waste your time with automated tests which spy on you and annoy you with pop-ups.

Pros: I've been in the role of a Senior Software Engineer at Dropbox for almost a year, and it's been a very positive experience.
What I like the most is the culture. The team I joined is supportive, collaborative, and there's an authentic sense of camaraderie.
One of the highlights of my role here is the freedom to choose how I approach and solve problems. If you're proactive and enjoy taking the initiative, you'll find this workplace highly enjoyable.
The company also has good benefits, including:
* A generous perk allowance
* Stock in the form of Restricted Stock Units (RSUs)
Cons: One of the downsides is having to join meetings set in the US timezone.

Pros: * Fully remote and flexible work hours (Many managers try to spread meetings around the working hours, so you can really enjoy the flexible work hours).
* Compensation is good.
Cons: * Lack of leadership vision.
* Leadership only cares about demos and does not understand engineering requirements.
* Politics, politics, and more politics.
* High turnover of mid-level managers.

Pros: I've been working in this company for over 6 years, being the company I've worked for the longest in my career. The main reason why I'm still here is a mix of the amazing, smart professionals that I've run into across these years, as well as (even more important to me) the tireless will to help that's carved in each and all of them.
They're always ready to drop what they're doing to jump and help you get unblocked and going. That sense of "we, not I" is contagious and, as time goes by, I've been able to put it in practice myself, inspired by what others did for me before. This builds up a "community feeling" where one can feel really comfortable working every day. I just love it.
Cons: Decision-making and risk-taking still have some way to go. Sometimes, we're slightly overwhelmed by the "fear to fail".
