Software Engineer (IC3) Interview Experience - Canada

Process

The process involved multiple rounds:

  • Initial screen with a recruiter.
  • Phone interview.
  • Passed to a second recruiter.
  • Second technical interview.
  • Invited to a virtual on-site.

I never got to do the virtual on-site, though. My recruiter kept changing the dates and postponing until they just stopped answering emails entirely. They insisted they wanted me as a candidate and that they just had to schedule the interview. This went on for almost three months.

This was the least professional recruiting department with the worst candidate experience ever. Don't waste your time, trust their promises, or postpone anything for them. They won't respect you or your time at all.
