It was a standard interview process with a coding assignment. It was simple, but I didn't get to the next round and received little feedback.
I believe they were looking for something specific that wasn't clearly mentioned.
Overall, I would say focus on code quality.

Pros: Dropbox pays well and offers good work-life balance. The benefits are pretty good. The people are friendly. Being able to work remotely is really nice and offers a lot of flexibility.
Cons: There isn't a lot of investment in building good internal tools, simplifying existing tools, etc. The work is somewhat interesting, but there are more top-down initiatives than I prefer.

* Fully remote.
Cons: * Still looking for next major success.
* Too many partial pivots.
* In-person logistics are still bad; meetups are underbudgeted.
* Promo process is much more “time served in role” based than managers would admit.
* DX is not great for most engineers.

Pros: Working with really sharp engineers is great. I don't have to worry about other people following through.
I can trust that feedback is thoughtful and on point.
Fantastic perks, great company values that people seem to take to heart.
Cons: It can be intimidating to start.
The interview process is hard, and we hold ourselves to a high standard.
I had some imposter syndrome at the outset.
