Process

First, you will receive a phone interview or coding assessment to be done on your own.

If you pass the coding assessment, then you will schedule a 6-hour virtual onsite, which will comprise of:

  • All Around (Behavioral)
  • Coding (Dropbox-specific coding question)
  • Architecture (Design question)
  • Wrap Up (Team pairing)

The question pool is very narrow but very different. You will be asked example problems that require knowledge and techniques on Parallelism, Concurrency, File Systems, and Hashing.

There is an emphasis on how to use DSA to solve real-world problems rather than abstract LeetCode-style questions. You will have to spend focused time on the Dropbox interview specifically because their questions are vastly different from the typical big tech interview.
