Pros: - Solid work-life balance (depends on team) - Remote position - Some interesting engineering still happening - Pretty good pay

Cons: - So many reorgs. - Product pivots happen constantly. - Negative user growth on the horizon.

Pros: Virtual first. It's nice having a lot of flexibility over your work schedule. Lots of smart engineers who are pleasant to work with, when politics don't get in the way.

Cons: Lack of coherent or consistent strategy from leadership. Our company strategy: * Cutting benefits; used to be industry-leading, now below average. * One of our "pillars" is "Make work human," but the recent layoffs and cuts to benefits (especially parental leave) make it seem like a bad joke. * Promotions/calibrations are super political, very hard to make progress even if you are excelling in your role. * Yearly re-orgs create a lot of thrash; many teams lose whole quarters of productivity due to ramping up on new domains. * Teams are force-fed OKRs that end up highly discouraging collaboration with other teams.

Pros: Lots of benefits and nice working.

Cons: Lots of re-orgs and lots of proprietary code.
