I applied through a recruiter. The process took 8 weeks, with 3-week gaps between each stage. Half of the interviewers were new at Dropbox (<6 months). The coding environment was not adequate for the language, and the requirements were very scripted.

I received an auto-generated email to complete an automated code screening challenge. If the company cannot even bother to set up an actual person to do the interview, how bad is their culture going to be!

I applied online and was sent a 90-minute, timed, gated, 4-part implementation. I did not meet the minimum bar to talk to a human, even though I got full points on the first 2 out of 4 parts and ran out of time. I would recommend not wasting your tim
