Standard HR screen where they ask you typical "Why do you want to work here?" questions, followed by a technical interview with Codility. Pretty simple questions, and they give you two hours to answer three questions. After a week or so, they respond whether they want to move forward to a personal interview.

Pros: Great compensation, nice perks, and benefits. The job is extremely fast-paced; the organization is quite meritocratic. There's a no-BS mentality. Some of the people are extremely smart, but not all. Most people are street-smart rather than book-smart.
Cons: Very hard work, minimal collaboration between groups. Occasionally this leads to issues or conflicts, but nothing serious. Really very few cons.
Company lacks a strong quantitative culture. It retains the old floor trading mentality, although the quality of software engineers is very high.

Pros: All of my coworkers here were extremely intelligent, and generally pleasant people to work with. DRW's hiring mentality shines here. Likewise, the technologies we worked with were always cutting-edge, and DRW's fast-paced environment keeps you on your toes.
Cons: On some teams, the pace of DRW's work environment often leads to a lesser work/life balance.
