Worldwide remote, decent pay, flexible schedule.
Super repetitive job. Management doesn't care about contractors, even though they say and act like they do. Frequent policy changes. No option to move up. No real team connection. Toxic positivity.
Reach out to contractors to offer support in times of struggle, especially when they are upfront in letting you know it's a mental health struggle, instead of abruptly ending the contract without warning.
Stop with the toxic positivity because it's easy to see it's fake.
Figure out better ways to combat contractor burnout, or at least actually care about it.
1 round HR chat, 1 round pair coding. After I reviewed the question, it was actually not very difficult, but I was nervous in the interview. I finally worked out the result as expected but still failed in this round. Sad.
Straightforward OA and LC questions. Standard Codesignal General Coding Assessment. As for LC, just basic graph traversals and string/array manipulation should be enough. Behavioral was a little short though, so didn't get to share much. Overall,
Easy unproctored CodeSignal. A quick 15-minute behavioral interview where I was asked a maximum of 4 questions about previous experiences. No software experience was expected for either the technical or behavioral interview.
