Process

I interviewed for an Engineering Manager role in their London office in Shoreditch.

  • First call with an internal recruiter. We discussed my experience, salary expectations, etc.
  • A few days later, I had a call with the hiring manager, the Head of Engineering. He was very nice, and we discussed my experience, my motivation, people management, etc.
  • One week later, I had a full day of interviews, split into various sessions (management, technical, product, etc.). It was intense but overall felt well organized.

The process up until this point was very pleasant and smooth. I had told them at the beginning that I had to move quickly, and they seemed to accommodate me.

However, during the last interview, I was told that I would have heard back in 2-3 days maximum. Instead, they kept me waiting for 3 weeks. After chasing them repeatedly and stressing that I had a time constraint (I had to give an answer to other companies), they still didn't have any feedback for me, at which point I gave up and took another offer. By the way, 6 weeks later, I still haven't received any feedback, let alone heard from them.
