After sending my CV, I had a "motivational" telephone interview lasting about half an hour. The following day, I was asked to take a full day off to go to their office for a face-to-face interview. They assured me there was no rush, but I later discovered they were just wasting my time.
I underwent two separate technical interviews with three different people from various teams, totaling a little over two hours. I answered all their questions, which were not very difficult.
After a couple of days, they informed me I was a good candidate but rejected me for the following reasons:
A) I am a full-stack developer, and they were searching for a front-end position. They clearly ignored my CV and what I had explicitly stated during the initial telephone interview regarding this exact issue. B) Due to my background, I mentioned that Visual Studio is a great IDE, but the interviewer was a complete open-source zealot. Again, they should have read my CV more carefully and not advertised their fake appreciation for previous .NET experience in their job posting. C) I provided a lot of detail and examples when answering their questions.
The only fair point was the first one. They could have avoided wasting a full day of my life for two hours of in-person interviews when they had already decided not to hire me.
Very predictable and plain questions about JavaScript, HTML, and OO programming.
