I received a call from an eBay recruiter, and then I had a technical phone interview, which was the worst ever.

The interviewer kept asking me about concepts that don't exist in real programming languages, seemingly to confuse me.

He asked me about topics I had never heard of, with extremely impractical questions.

The coding test was pretty easy, though.

Amazing Perks, Great Autonomy

Pros: The perks were amazing, ranging from massage Mondays, lunch Tuesdays, to bagel Wednesdays. The company culture was very welcoming, and it was easy to fit in. My project was well allocated for the 12 weeks I was present, and I could not have gotten as much autonomy with any other internship program. Hours were very lax.

Cons: I honestly have nothing to say here. Some of the stuff could have been organized better, but this was the first year revamping the eBay intern program, and it was a great success from my perspective.

Cons: Horrible tech infrastructure. Everyone worked from home, but the VPN made it impossible to get things done. Some days it would take 5 minutes just to check your company email when connected to it. eBay also switched over to employ a large amount of contractors, leading to extremely high turnover.

Partition Equal Subset Sum

Dynamic Programming

Remove One Element to Make the Array Strictly Increasing

Determine if removing a single element from an array can make the remaining elements strictly increasing. You need to check if it's possible to obtain a strictly increasing sequence by deleting at most one element.
