Pros: My boss was a whiz at getting around the hoops to get resources, and I paid him back with hard work and pushing the limits of my knowledge base. I used to get in trouble at other places for distracting the manager/team by bringing in new ideas. It was pleasant to work here, and when I brought up ideas, the response was, "So when can we have it done?"
Cons: Not enough privacy to code. Even mini-conference rooms were fully booked.
Going through budget freeze.
