Relaxed but Unimpressive Workplace
Pretty relaxed in general. All engineering time is well documented, preventing situations where engineers need to work a significant amount of overtime.
The process is very rigid there, slowing down progress. As a result, people are essentially unable to make individual contributions in their free time that are not explicitly planned or documented as part of a project.
Either better communications at the reasons for what appear to be arbitrary large-scale changes, or a better discussion process.
