Process
It was interesting. They gave me a puzzle test five minutes before my interviewers came in. Afterward, we talked about the puzzle to see if I would fit in socially.

This company will notice you if you are willing to shine
QA Analyst • Current Employee
Austin, Texas, United States
May 30, 2016
Pros: The company is the most diverse and flexible in the industry. EA will listen and is also willing to learn. It is not at all the crazy, scary, huge president business corp that you would think. In saying this, starting from the bottom, I have had a wonderful experience growing a company that helps one to prosper with the strengths they have.
Cons: People can get lazy and be happy with being mediocre.

Pros: Working on video games, state-of-the-art facilities.
Cons: Working overtime. Some of the work becomes quite repetitive.

It's hard to move out of QA, and management doesn't really help
QA Analyst • Former Employee
July 26, 2020
Pros: Two cafeterias, free coffee and tea, 401k matching, free EA games, and free movie rentals.
Cons: Don’t get into QA thinking you can advance. They do some shady stuff to keep people down. And being a female does not make you equal at all. My male counterparts were promoted doing the exact same work I was.
As for getting out of QA, four people moved to dev in the eight years I was there. Not a lot of support for that sort of thing from management. And experience and knowledge mean nothing; they will let you go if you don’t fit into their mold.
