Process

A technical recruiter reached out to me via LinkedIn, and I accepted a phone interview.

She was 15 minutes late and was not apologetic.

After the initial interview, she explained that the next step was to have a call with the hiring manager.

I did not hear back from her for two weeks, so I sent a follow-up email. She said the position was on hold for a while but still available and that she would schedule a call shortly.

She scheduled a call for the "Workday position." I asked her what the call was for, and she said she had scheduled a call for the wrong position.

She arranged another call a week later. When we got on the call, she started discussing the Senior SRE manager role as if the initial call had not taken place. I asked her if she was aware that we had already had the initial call and that it was supposed to be a call with the hiring manager.

She admitted that she completely forgot about the fact that the initial call had already taken place.

She asked me to apply for the role online. At that time, I stopped wasting my time.
