They asked me to do a code test, and I actually did it twice because the first time I did it, I was not in the country. The second time I did it was 6 months later. The feedback on the test was positive.
Then there was a 45-minute Zoom interview with 3 managers. The week after the interview, HR called me back, and there was no offer. The reason given was that I don't have direct experience in some API. I am not buying that because I didn't list those API experiences in my resume in the first place. If those experiences were the keys, why spend so much energy for me to do the code test, and for the team to review it?
The coding test they gave me to do.
