Lots of fun, and you get to work with great people in a great environment. It is a very good place to work overall.
The pay is, quite frankly, terrible. It makes it almost impossible to live without a second job. In addition, the advancement rate is staggeringly low.
A pay scale that rewards staying with the company would help to boost employee retention. For example, after working for a month, bump pay from $9 to $9.50. After three months, $10. After 6 months, $11. This would greatly boost employee morale and give employees the ability and motivation to stay with the company for greater periods of time.
Also, a pay bump to returning employees would be highly beneficial and also greatly boost the number of returning testers.
I had a few interviews on Zoom about the position, my background, and my knowledge of the company. The whole process took from August, when I first applied through LinkedIn, to November, when I had the job offer.
Pleasant and simple interview to check that you know the company and a bit about the work in question that the interview is about. Some more specific questions on how to solve problems that may arise.
Very quick, easy, and well communicated. The process took less than a week. Everyone was friendly. It was almost entirely through e-mail, except for the Zoom interview. I felt as though communication was always open despite this.
