Unfortunately, although contractors work a full-time position there, they don't get benefits or reasonable pay compared to FT employees until they are converted (which takes a few years unless there is an open role or the contractor is exceptional).
It is also quite in your face when you're not a full-time employee, which is quite immature.
Could improve on employee retention.

Very quick, easy, and well communicated. The process took less than a week. Everyone was friendly. It was almost entirely through e-mail, except for the Zoom interview. I felt as though communication was always open despite this.
