I think Electronic Arts pays comparatively well to other game companies in the industry.
Electronic Arts is a very large company, and it is certainly possible to get lost in the crowd. Although I think conditions vary a lot from team to team. I know lots of people who have burned out from working the long hours and crunching. Although crunching is pretty common in the games industry, so I feel like you'll see that anywhere.

Had an interview with 4 different rounds. First round was HR. Then a tech round with the managers, and then 2 panel rounds. It was a bitter ending; I did not get an offer.
