Pros

The compensation packages at EA are great for the industry and even good for programmers in general. The culture at the EA Chicago studio was phenomenal.

Cons

Poor technical leadership led to projects not turning out as well as they could. Corporate HQ closed the EA Chicago studio much too prematurely.

Advice to Management

Electronic Arts has a huge amount of talent working for it, but it still struggles at making well-done and innovative games. I think this has to be a problem with the corporate leadership.
