A lot of talented people are working on great titles and for huge audiences. It's a great chance to learn and participate in big projects.
Unorganized! A lot of projects started and stopped. Other projects moved around from studio to studio. It seems like someone up there doesn't know what they're doing.
Start taking responsibility and make hard decisions instead of simply trying to cruise and avoid blame for under-performance of the group.
An engineer started a phone interview by asking about general information, reasons for changing jobs, former job experience, and project experiences, etc. Then, he asked an algorithm question. No detailed code was required, only thought processes.
I had a tech interview with the hiring manager and was then called in for an onsite. The onsite experience was a disaster. There were 8 interviews, and one of the interviewers did not show up on time. As a result, I ended up giving a 4-on-1 interview
Very constructive and peaceful. Felt like I was at the right place at the right time. I could have done better, but I chose to see that as my own problem rather than EA's.
