EA can attract some very good talent. Opportunities to do new things and move up are real possibilities since it's a large company.
Shipping by "the end of the quarter" causes grief; we know we need to ship to earn a paycheck.
But having any semblance of quality usually necessitates gobs of overtime. Overtime can often be directly attributed to subpar management not having a clear product vision.
