There seemed to be discrimination based on cultural differences. It was communicated in advance that the interview would be 45 minutes, with 15 minutes for my questions and standard LeetCode questions.
The interviewer knew nothing about my field of expertise or the role I was interviewing for, despite my specializing in my field for over 7 years.
I received a challenge regarding their field of knowledge, but they couldn't answer anything regarding the role or the tech used. Why should I know their field of expertise and be judged on it when they didn't know anything about the role they were hiring for?
The interviewer spoke about themselves for a while, then gave me less than 15 minutes to solve the challenge and ended the call early.
