EliseAI rescinded the offer after I agreed to sign, following 5 rounds of interviews and an on-site visit. The reason cited was "goals and priorities being misaligned". For that reason, I would recommend being very careful when dealing with this company.
For context, I had asked EliseAI to push my start date by two weeks to accommodate a vacation before I begin. They refused and recommended I cut my vacation short. When I requested further consideration, EliseAI pulled the offer.
Whatever the actual reason for pulling the offer was, it reflects terribly on the company to rescind an offer and quote misaligned priorities after they had multiple rounds of interviews ranging from engineers to senior leadership to judge my fit with the company.
