I was contacted by their internal recruiter and scheduled a screening.
The initial interview went great, and the interviewer repeatedly told me that I was exactly what they were looking for and that I would definitely be hearing from them within a week regarding the next steps.
He also mentioned that even if one of the open positions didn't work out, he had another one for me. This left me feeling very optimistic.
I was completely ghosted after this.
There wasn't even a courtesy rejection email stating, "Thank you, but we decided to go with another candidate."
I followed up after some time, but there was no response.
I checked if the person was still employed with the company; he is and is very active on his LinkedIn.
This was completely unprofessional, and I would suggest not wasting your time.
