I spoke with the recruiter first for about 30 minutes. The recruiter was great, very helpful and pleasant.
I next spoke with the director for a little over 30 minutes. This was also very positive.
I was invited to take a take-home assessment. The assessment had two parts: coding and design.
The reason I gave a thumbs down was that the response I received from the take-home assessment was vague. It was basically a single statement that other candidates did better. I followed up for more information and was informed that the recruiter had none to give and that the staff doing the assessment reviews were busy. So, I have no clue what I could have done better.
