I applied online in January and received an email from Epic Games at the end of February indicating they would like to move forward. I was told I would need to complete and submit a test.
I completed the test one day after receiving it and submitted it via the link they provided. Two weeks later, I was contacted by a recruiter who said they would like to move forward and schedule a phone interview.
I submitted my availability immediately in mid-March, but there was no response until a month later. I was contacted by the same recruiter, and she apologized that the lack of response was due to preparations for GDC.
We scheduled a phone interview for mid-April. During that time period, communication was very effective. The phone interview went well, and at the end, she said I would receive a response in a week.
After that, I waited for another month with no response to the interview or follow-up emails I sent. I didn't receive the rejection letter until mid-May. During that entire time, there was no response regarding the process or my follow-up emails.
