I would consider Epic Games the Apple of video games. Everything is well done as a company, the people are ridiculously smart, and we have lots of insane projects.
Organization of execution could be better, but this company is growing and learning. It's a minor issue.
Had a screening interview and matched all qualifications except AWS experience. The interview felt a little rushed, but was overall okay. It is a really competitive company, so I'm going to see if I can get some experience in this area and try again.
A tech test followed by a day of panels. There were a lot of panels, but they restricted their own questioning to a set time so that there was plenty of time for my questions. There was also a hard stop to ensure there was time for me to get a breat
The entire process took about 1 month and was quite in-depth. I first applied online, went through an online technical test, two phone interviews, and then flew to the on-site (Cary, NC) for a full day. The company took care of all travel expenses.
