Process
There were two stages in the process:
a ~30 minute phone interview and a 3-4 hour session.
The second session involved several presentations about the company and its software, and had two interviews at the end (a software "case study" and a non-technical interview with a recruiter).
Overall, I thought the interviewers were welcoming and friendly, and I did not feel intimidated throughout the process.

Pros: Smart people, great food, beautiful campus, competitive salary.
Cons: Horrible work-life balance.
Micro-managing from managers, with a detailed daily work plan down to the minute.
Managers don't care about your long-term career plan. They just use you as labor and expect more and more output from you. If you give them an inch, they push for a mile.
Old tech stack which won't help with your next career moves. Basically, the longer you stay at this company, the less chance you'd have to find your next job.
Terrible response to the pandemic.

Cons: They don't allow you to work remotely.

Pros: 1. Successful and rapid efforts to web migrate the existing codebase.
2. Can still feel the startup culture.
3. Extremely rewarding. Pay is the absolute best for any company around this area and the Midwest overall.
4. Flat management hierarchy. That helps in rapid escalations and immediate attention to problems.
5. One of the most beautiful campuses in the world. You will not know until you visit this place.
Cons: The winters in Wisconsin can be harsh. The campus has been built mindfully. It has air bridges and underground tunnels.
That way the whole 400-odd acre campus is internally connected. This keeps you protected from extreme weather.
