Quality Assurance Interview Experience

Process

I just completed my phone interview with Epic and am waiting to take my skills assessment. So far, I have submitted a resume/cover letter, taken an online personality/SAT-type test, and had a phone interview. Next, I will be taking a skills assessment test. If I pass that, then I go to the campus in Verona for an in-person interview.

The process is very long, and I'm not sure why. I have mixed feelings about Epic based on what I've read on the internet. Some people have claimed it is just a place for young, naive recent grads to go, where they're overworked for low pay until they burn out and leave. Personally, with the economy the way it is, I'd be thrilled with any job offer at all. We'll see how the rest of the process goes before I make any decisions, I suppose.
