Really, it's the hiring process that I found bizarre in my case. They first interviewed and gave me pretty vague questions. I then did the assessment, which had math questions. I was a humanities major that qualified for the job but was required to do math before to see if I qualified for a non-technical job. It made no sense. I didn't take the test seriously either. I had told them no when hearing about the assessment. They pushed me to continue, and I still didn't get the job.
