Applied on Day 1, got a response on Day 4, confirmed a phone interview on Day 5, had the phone interview on Day 6.

The phone interview was very laid back, conducted by a software developer who's been with Epic for 3 years. It lasted 35 minutes in all, with 20 minutes for the interview and 15 minutes for background talk.

• Why do you think Epic is a good place for you? What are you looking for?
• Where do you want to be in the next 5 years?
• Details about academic degrees and GPA.
• Competitive exam scores (SAT and others).
• An idea about how the first year is for a new employee, plus details about the location and campus.
• An idea of technology used in various systems which Epic develops.
