Phone interview: a short chat with a developer about skills and a past project.

Skills assessment: a long test of programming principles and logic. The programming section was difficult because outside resources were not allowed.

On-site interview: Mine was virtual. It was more of an orientation than an interview, with an overview of the software and campus. There was a brainstorming session with a developer to test problem-solving and a very standard interview with a recruiter. It was pretty laid-back compared to the rigor of the skills assessment.
