Software Developer Interview Experience - United States

Process

Submitted my resume online. After some time, I received the online assessment, which is in the same format as everyone else's. The programming problems I received did not involve complicated recursion or things like DP, so taking enough care with the details would suffice. Then I got the onsite opportunity, which consists of two information sessions, a session requiring me to explain one of my projects, a design problem session, a lunch with a current employee, an interview with HR, and a tour. These might be in a different order for different candidates.

The interviewer for the design session did not ask me any specific details about technology, language, or OOP-related questions. The people I met were all very nice and helpful. I received the offer after two weeks.
