Software Developer Interview Experience

Process

It began by applying online and then receiving an email to schedule a phone interview. The phone interview was very general and basic. Make sure you can explain a few of your projects (2-3) in depth.

After the phone interview, you are asked to take an online assessment on ProctorU. The online coding experience was awful. Someone was constantly watching you code, and it made the entire process very uncomfortable. There were four questions on the online assessment and no IDE to make sure what you were writing was even correct. Additionally, the online questions were worded incorrectly, so when you try to come up with a solution, you're not sure if it should be based off the correct terminology.

After about 2 weeks, I got a rejection saying I did not fulfill their requirements.
